Pets

Pets.... What a blessing pets are. They're there to comfort us when we're sad or hurting. They're there to make us laugh when we don't want to. They're there to give us sloppy dog kisses when we're in our worst mood. Aren't pets just a gift from God? They can be frustrating sometimes (when they pee on the floor) or angering (when they chew up your favorite shoes), but still a gift.

How do you get through hard times?

"There is none holy like the LORD: for there is none besides you; for there is no rock like our God." ~ 1 Samuel 2:2

When I don't know how to react to a situation, I go to the bible. When I don't know what to say about something, I pray for guidance from God. When I don't know how I will get through the trails and struggles of my day, I go and kneel at the cross. How do you deal with pain, heartache, and trials?

Make no mistake. I'm not perfect by any means. I mess up all the time. I don't always seek the cross first. But I desire God and I need Him to be first in my life. He is our creator. He deserves all the praise and glory! Is He the center of your life? He should be. He made you! And He loves you!
